In this ‘Living the Dream’ Cabin Crew Masterclass I’m putting on my Cabin Crew hat to help you along your journey to fulfil your dream and fly as Cabin Crew.
I landed my first flying job as Cabin Crew at the age of 40, having dreamed of it since I was 8. I know what it’s like to watch Cabin Crew at work while going on my holidays, wishing it was me. I’ve felt the disappointment of receiving rejection emails, and doubting whether I’ll ever get that “Yes!”. And as I got older, I experienced the sadness of facing the reality that perhaps my dream had passed me by and it was time to settle for less.
But I’m here to prove to you that dreams do come true, that a “No” doesn’t mean “Never” and that if I can start at 40, then you can start from wherever you are.
Not only have I used my own cabin crew journey to shape this Masterclass, but before flying, I worked in HR at a University, so my experience of recruitment, learning & development and diversity & inclusion, has come in handy too.
